Alcester is a very old market town originating from Roman times, retaining Roman architecture in certain elements of the town’s makeup. It’s eight miles from Stratford-upon-Avon and Redditch, nestled in the county of Warwickshire.


There’s plenty to see and do in Alcester before you tie the knot in this historic spot. Make sure you visit the beautiful Ragley Hall, Park and Gardens - it’s a country manor with 19th Century gardens - and medieval Coughton Court, now a National Trust property.
