Whether you wish to host an intimate celebration or a big party, our diverse spaces offer many opportunities. We are a dry hire venue and have wedding packages to suit all budgets, from ceremony only through to a full day.
The venue consists of the Black Gate, a 13th century gatehouse which houses our fully accessible licensed room for civil ceremonies. Or there is the Castle Keep for a more relaxed informal ceremony or your wedding breakfast and reception.
Our fully licensed room, The Harbottle Suite can accommodate up to 50 guests for a civil ceremony. The Castle Keep can hold up to 75 guests for a ‘mock ceremony’ or wedding breakfast and up to 90 for an evening reception.
Unique photo opportunities, such as the dramatic views from the Roof, the rustic stone walls in the Castle Keep or the or the romantic ‘Juliet Balcony’ in The Black Gate to name just a few, giving you some genuinely wonderful wedding photographs.
