My name's Kam Parmar and I’m a full time professional photographer specialising in weddings but can cover most other events. I’m based in Luton, Bedfordshire but have covered weddings up and down the UK as well as abroad including Mauritius, Thailand, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Monaco, Spain, Cyprus, Tenerife, Malta, France and Italy. I’m very much a family guy with a bubbly personality which I feel is an important quality to have when meeting hundreds of people at a wedding. I’ve been told that I’m a peoples person by clients who have felt that this has also been a great part of their experience in booking me for their big day. I also feel it's crucial to build a good relationship with guests from the moment we meet so that they feel comfortable with me capturing them during the event. Don’t just take my word for it though and have a read through my testimonials. I’ll be honest, I never studied photography but was the kid that my father gave a camera to at a very young age and told me to capture family functions and was told that I was good at it. I suppose I’ve always just had an “eye for it” as they say. When my wife encouraged me to photograph professionally I was unsure on whether I should pursue this career. Maybe it was the thought of capturing such an auspicious day that only happens once (usually) and that as a photographer, you only get 1 shot of the moments…excuse the pun! It was the best decision I've ever made as I live and breathe photography…ask the wife! #lovemyjob I’ve had a keen interest in art and design during my high school years and by continuing my love for it, I have implemented my experience and knowledge into my passion of photography. I've been referred to as an artist with the camera by past clients. Each Signature shot is carefully crafted with a thought process of composition, my environment and most importantly, lighting.
