Hello! My name is Fiona and I am the grower, designer and award nominated florist behind Upsidedowninaflowerbed. I grow beautiful foliage, herbs and flowers in my large garden and growing plot in the East Midlands. My wedding services support small, intimate weddings as well as larger more elaborate, luxurious celebrations. I create fabulous, bespoke arrangements to meet the needs of the couples I work with, to make your day special, memorable and personal to you. With so many flowers to choose from throughout the year, I can ensure the quality and condition of my flowers. I have grown flowers here for over 20 years and have a wealth of experience as a florist and an enduring passion for growing British flowers that you will not find in a standard florists. Using British blooms all year, the herbaceous borders, shrubs and growing areas inspire a naturalistic floral style. This means your wedding flowers will be seasonal; sown and grown here, not flown here. As well as looking amazing, they will smell beautiful too. My garden studio is the perfect location for workshops and mentoring; if you are interested in growing your own flowers, would like to learn how to arrange flowers yourself or make flower crowns and bridal bouquets, this is for you! If you want to arrange your flowers yourself, then I can grow and cut what you need. If you don't want fresh flowers, I dry flowers too! I hold open days where you can come and look around the garden to gain inspiration for you wedding flowers.
