The key is in the preparation: we are here to help and guide you with this.
Remind yourself as to why you are getting married along the way: We like to remind our Brides and Grooms why they are getting married to each other, if they become stressed during the process.
Take as many photos of the preparation as you do of the Wedding Day – the cake tasting, trying on the Dress & Suits, picking the flowers. These are all memories that you won’t want to forget.

The Queens Hotel Reviews
We honestly had the most incredible day/night and without your continuous support and running a tight ship, it would not have been possible.
The comments we had on the day and following were how beautiful the venue is, that the food was phenomenal, but mainly just how lovely you were. Friendly, incredibly helpful and all round kept the whole day together.
Thank you for allowing me to set up some of the décor, and even down to swapping the meals around for our ungrateful moody pre-teen!
Everything I had pictured in my head for the last 20 months came to life and it was perfection, the best day of our lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a huge part of our beautiful winter wedding, we could not have wished for anything better.
It was absolutely perfect in every way - from accommodating both of us brides as our rooms were fantastic and plenty of space for us all to get ready on our big day. Breakfast in our rooms so we could avoid each other on the Saturday was great but even the manner of every member of staff we came across - including dealing with some of our guests with a smile on their faces, which I would have struggled to at times!
We are looking forward to visiting over Christmas and possibly even getting our anniversary booked in with you - we may well make this a tradition because why not!
Thanks again for everything.
Amanda and her team could not have been more helpful and added to the fun of the whole experience. The food was excellent, as I have been accustomed to at the Queens, and reflects highly on the chef and his team; the service spot on by respectful and efficient staff, a credit to the hotel.
The rooms were spot on and all our needs were met, above and beyond, and may I compliment the Queens Hotel on the excellent breakfast.
You helped us immensely starting our future together in just the right spirit!
Thank you
From the reception team when I first arrived on Friday to the breakfast team on Sunday when we left, all the staff were so helpful, polite and professional, which just made us feel so welcome, cared for and in the best hands for our wedding. We honestly felt spoilt with all the help we received.
The food was out of this world, and dare we say it, even better than the taster menu. The beef wellington was cooked to absolute perfection and the wine was delicious. So, a very big thank you to the chefs; our guests absolutely loved it and couldn't stop speaking about how much they enjoyed it.
Amanda, thank you so much for keeping us all to time without it feeling rushed or pressured. We could not have done it without you! You were there at every big moment during the day and evening to make sure we were ok and in the right place at the right time. All our guests said how pleased they were with the timings and getting to chat and meet everyone multiple times throughout the day. Many of them say normally they have not had that experience before and barely get to see the bride and groom. Thank you also for all your hard work in all the planning meetings we had - you are an absolute professional and know the best ways to do things. We always felt we could trust and rely on your amazing knowledge in your profession and getting it right for our big day.
The room looked gorgeous too so thank you for all your help in setting up bits and sorting all the finishing touches. This was a bonus to not have to worry about setting up tables or worry about those little things the night before or the day after.
The whole venue is stunning and we were very lucky with the weather to be able to use your garden too. We chose the Queens for the fact we could all be together in the one place to avoid break off of groups etc, and it definitely lived up to that.
The thoughtful additions of bringing the gifts to our rooms and the towels with petals were such a lovely touch. All the rooms were beautiful with lovely deco, very clean and to a great standard. Room 126 was an absolute blessing to get ready in the morning of the wedding - Such a perfect room for that occasion.
The DJ was fab too, my feet hurt still so that's a good sign in my book!
I'm sure there are other things we are missing to say thank you for.
Many thanks.
I am Imogen’s mum and the wedding was cancelled due to covid, but we had a ceremony with only both sets of parents, they are married but having a party in Sept, Matt is away for 6 months in Estonia in the army, they both deserve to have this lovely surprise, the venue is wonderful thank you Jo
