Ivy House is picturesque and peaceful venue in Oulton Broad, surrounded by 21 acres of gardens and mature trees. We offer a unique wedding package with ceremonies taking place in our 18th century thatched barn also known as the Crooked Barn restaurant and receptions in Ivy Hall, an impressive space with fairy light canopy and private gardens and bar.

Our onsite accommodation comprises of 21 rooms, including the honeymoon suite, some pet friendly rooms, and a couple of family rooms. Our team of staff serve breakfast in the barn the morning after the wedding. We offer a discounted wedding rate to all our couples and their guests.

We cater for outdoor weddings on Ivy Lawn, which is a beautiful space enclosed by large trees and directly adjacent to Ivy Hall which is where we host sit down meals and evening parties. We can cater for wedding parties from 10 people up to 220 people.

It's exposed roof beams wrapped in fairy lights deliver the wow factor You can say 'I do' in our peaceful, private gardens followed by a drinks reception on Ivy Lawn. We will take care of the step up so you can relax and enjoy your day knowing everything is taken care of. We offer both set menus for those looking for inspiration and also bespoke wedding menus developed to suit different tastes and budgets. We are proud to offer couples flexibility and choice when it comes to their wedding catering.. We have 21 luxury rooms and suites situated in the grounds and we offer a special wedding rate for wedding guests. For families we have two dedicated rooms, a suite in the courtyard that sleeps 4-5 people and a two-bedroom apartment in the farmhouse. You’re very welcome to bring canine members of the family to attend your ceremony. We just ask that you confirm this with your registrar beforehand.
