Information For Dolce Strings

We are a collective of carefully selected musicians, available for hire throughout the UK as a quartet, trio, duo and even a solo violinist and cellist.

WEDDING CEREMONY:
Prior to the wedding ceremony, as the guests enter the room, Dolce Strings will play music of your choice and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Afterwards, we will accompany the bridal party as they walk up the aisle.
We will also play your chosen songs whilst you sign the wedding documents.
Finally, we will play as the newly married couple walk out of the venue.
DRINKS RECEPTION:
Dolce Strings will perform some beautiful background music to entertain your guests during the drinks reception.
The music will be a mixture of different styles, including pop, jazz and some of the most well loved classical pieces. (All or any part of the set list can be picked by yourself).
WEDDING BREAKFAST:
Dolce Strings will perform some light background music as the Wedding Breakfast is served.
The setlist normally includes jazz and light pop music but we are happy to include the music of your choice.

We have experience performing at all sorts of events, from large corporate events to weddings and intimate recitals. Our wide range of repertoire ensures the music will be perfectly tailored to your event and needs. Our setlist includes Classical, pop, jazz, rock, film, Bollywood, Irish, Christmas, etc. In addition, we are happy to learn song requests. Dolce Strings’ highlights include appearances on Sky News, BBC drama series “Life” and an event for an Oscar-nominated film. From your favourite well known classics to current popular pieces by Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, etc. Dolce Strings awe audiences of all ages. Our performances are exciting to watch and full of energy! Classically trained, our musicians have extensive experience performing the works of classical composers. Our wide versatility ensures the perfect choice of music to suit your event. Impressive repertoire!
Can't thank Dolce Strings enough for playing at our wedding. Their repertoire is so vast, there was something for everyone, but it was topped off by the fact that they learnt the song to play as my wife walked down the aisle, and played such an incredible version of it. I would heartily recommend them to absolutely anyone, you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much!

We had the honour of having Dolce Strings perform at my sisters wedding, and I would highly recommend them to everyone. They were great at communicating and so accommodating to our needs and wishes. Dolce strings were amazing when they played for our ceremony and drinks reception. They learnt our entrance song request and all of our guests commented on how brilliant they sounded. Very professional and something thay definitely set our wedding apart from others. Cannot recommend them enough!

Where can we even begin to say thank you to Dolce Strings who performed at our wedding in Liverpool in August 2022!
The ladies surpassed all expectations and left our guests in awe of their talent, skill and professionalism! We can safely say that they added that something very special to the ceremony in Church and while our guests were eating. They were beyond outstanding and we couldn't recommend these ladies enough for your special day! We wanted to include three songs in the ceremony that were not on the list the quartet usually perform. Without hesitation Ines and the team learnt all three and liaised with our wedding singer so that everything was amazing and personal to us!

Best decision we made for our wedding day!
We hired a string duo from Dolce strings to play to welcome our guests, during our ceremony and post ceremony. They were absolutely flawless. They made my boho-bridgerton wedding dreams come true. They learned quite an obscure song for us for my entrance song and I’ll never forget the feeling when I heard it when I was about to enter the ceremony room, I’m so grateful to them for that moment! Also, hearing such a gorgeous rendition of ‘wildest dreams’ by Taylor Swift when we were signing the register is now one of my top life moments! An absolute dream and pleasure to communicate with and the best decision we made for our wedding day - if you are on the fence about whether you need a string duo/quartet at your wedding, get off it! You definitely do and you need these lovely, insanely talented people! Thank you so much!

We booked Dolce Strings for our wedding in November and they sounded absolutely incredible. They played at the church venue and I'd definitely recommend the quartet in the church if you want to fill the room.
Booking was seamless and they were more than happy to play a few songs that were not on their repertoire. They also gladly repeated any songs that we missed and they provided an amazing ambience at our drinks reception too.
100% recommend Dolce Strings and thanks again for making our day incredible!

I wish I could go back and listen again
I was incredibly fortunate to have Dolce strings play at my wedding on Thursday. They are truly exceptional musicians, professional, lovely and they made our ceremony and drinks reception so personal. We are a group of professional, young and vibrant musicians and we specialise in classical music and also modern covers 'Bridgerton-style'. We have plenty of experience performing at weddings and high-end events and our sets will enhance your magical day and awe your guests.
