Thank you so much for making the evening of our wedding exactly what we hoped for! There were 3 things that were top of our list to make sure we got right and the DJ was at the very top, you smashed it. The whole experience from start to finish was top class. Your passion for making our evening as special as it could be was clear from the start. Everyone we have spoken to since the wedding have all said how good the music was. So thank you for finishing off our special day in style
He patiently listened to all of our ideas (tbh more of an incoherent jumble of idea snippets but still....) and then worked his magic to weave them into a coherent event design. He also provided us with clear instructions as to what different playlists there would need to be for the different parts of the day. Once again we suggested our ideas for songs and he then worked his magic again, adding in other tracks to complement our choices. He was completely in tune with the party-whenever someone came up with a request it was in the next couple of tracks on his playlist. We had an awesome day and everyone who attended commented on how it had been such a perfect event. And it was Platinum Disco which provided the pulse of that event throughout, helping transition seamlessly from ceremony to meal, to late afternoon chill and then into evening party. As I said at the start, I can’t speak highly enough about them and would recommend them without any hesitation.
- We hired a venue in Mayfair, London with particular requirements that Luke easily dealt with. He is very professional with exceptionally high standards. - The resources used and the work that goes into compiling your playlist ensures the music will be exactly what you want. We had key songs at just the right moment and our dance floor was full all night. - The whole company, especially Luke, was just an absolute pleasure to work with. They were always responsive to queries, always open and honest. Extremely knowledgeable and fully invested in making our wedding reception the best it could be. I’ve done the research and my completely honest opinion is that if Platinum Disco and Entertainment are available for your wedding, then just book them!
Our DJ was Fil and he was fantastic. We had a wide range of music tastes that we requested and he read the crowd perfectly! The lighting and décor was great too and gave the perfect party atmosphere. Great experience with them!
Of Luke’s team, Wayne was selected by Luke to DJ our wedding and he really did pick the perfect man for the job - his mixing was so good, his song selections were perfect and he is such a top guy. We knew our wedding would be a great party but we really weren’t expecting the dancefloor to be completely full from the very first song to the last one. The room set up was absolutely great and whilst we initially wanted an LED dancefloor and would have paid more for this, Luke actually talked us out of this - we can’t thank him enough for talking us out of getting an LED dancefloor. That was absolutely brilliant advice as even if we’d have gone for the biggest one going, there was no way everyone would have managed to fit on it as Wayne ensured so many people were up dancing at all points of the night. We can’t speak highly enough of Luke and the team!
