Cwnmbran is a new town in Wales. It lies within the historic county of Monmouthshire and forms part of the county borough of Torfaen. In 1949, Cwmbran was designated as a new town to provide employment opportunities in Coalfield. The town’s name translates to Crow Valley and it isn’t far from Newport.
