Magicians Tips

Choose a venue suitable for both warm sunny days AND inclement weather so that guests can easily switch from indoors to outdoors without hassle.

Make sure the entertainer you are booking is professional and this is what he or she does is their full-time job.

Ask to see testimonials from previous engagements.

Ask to see a free personal no-obligation demonstration. Make sure you are completely happy before making the booking.

Plan everything well in advance - then you can relax and enjoy your day!

Book early to avoid disappointment.

Everyone will tell you what should happen on your big day - don't do it for other people, do things how you want them to be.

Don't leave your entertainment planning until the last minute. Good performers can be booked two to three years in advance, so make sure you get in early!

Invite who you want to be with you on this very special day. It's your party!!!!

Most weddings have quiet periods where guests can relax. Magic is the perfect ice breaker and conversation starter

Book a magician......

Best times for a magician to perform: 1) During photography sessions 2) Before lunch/dinner to get bums on seats faster 3) In between courses 4) During the reception

Spend some time with the magician discussing the runtimes of the day, the layout of the venue and a rough idea of the seating plan to ensure the best possible results.

Did I say book a magician....

Allow room for lots of entertainment

Don't neglect the daytime entertainment. A little magic after the service is a great way to break the ice and get everyone in the mood for a day to remember!

Enjoy your day. Try to relax and just go with the flow!

Skip traditions and trends that don’t hold any meaning to you, because there is no right or wrong way to have a wedding. If it is authentic to you as a couple but not “traditional” that is OK

Between 2 to 3 hours of close up magic is sufficient.

Don't get drunk before the speeches
