Steeped in history, Corfe Castle offers a dramatic & romantic outdoor location for your wedding. The 1,000-year-old ruin sits atop a hill on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset & offers panoramic coast & countryside views above the quintessential English village.
We’re licenced to hold civil ceremonies & symbolic blessings throughout the castle & with exclusive hire after 4pm. We can create a wedding completely unique to you & your wishes all year round.
The castle grounds provide an exceptionally flexible canvas & we highly recommend arranging a visit, where we’d be delighted to show you around & hear all about the vision for your wedding.
Walk over the stone bridge & step into the Outer Bailey, a wide open lawn space with views of the castle from every angle. For your wedding reception this area can hold up to 200 guests, along with a marquee, drinks & canape are also served in this area.
The Keep is the most iconic part of the castle. Built in the 11th century for Kings & Queens, it was designed to be impressive & still stands tall. The Gloriette archways made even more romantically charming in its ruined state & can hold up to 40 guests
The West Bailey is the oldest part of the castle & provides incredible 360 degree views with ceremony space for up to 70 guests. The flexibility of our space here at Corfe Castle, along with our dedicated team, we can bring your dream wedding to reality.
