If you win the wedding we will need to contact you to give you the good news and tell you how to claim your prizes!
We need the following information from you and will attempt to contact you by the following means in the following order:
- Telephone: Telephone number (optional)
- Email: Email address
- By Post: Postal Address including postcode
When joining through Facebook we request the following data from you:-
- Name - So we know what to call you.
- Email - So we have another means of getting in touch should you win the wedding.
- Gender - So we know if you are the bride or the groom.
- Your profile picture - For your new friends and suppliers on UKbride to see you.
NOTE: Your email address is also used as your account login and is required to be unique.
In addition to the details above, we also collect the following data to personalise your experience and ensure that we show you goods and services from local and relevant suppliers:
- First and Last name
- Gender
- Wedding location
- Wedding date (or approximate date)
- If you are actively planning
- How long you have been engaged
- Your wedding budget
- Number of guests
- If you need a Photographer / Venue and budgets for each
We also use the information to ensure that you are relevant to the supplier if you have given us permission to pass on your details to them. Additionally some information is used in anonymous polls and statistics for press releases and industry research.
Unless you give us permission, we will not give your full name, address, email address, or telephone details to any third party. This permission can be withdrawn at any time
In order to provide suppliers with enough details to provide you with relevant quotations, we may provide them with your basic requirements data, e.g. approximate distance from them, wedding date, number of guests and budget.
We will only get in touch if you have given us permission, and this can be withdrawn at any time.
