BS3 Community Development was founded in 1991 to improve the lives of people living in BS3 and the surrounding area.

The Southville Centre is a conscious venue choice for a ceremony or reception. As a registered charity and social enterprise, we reinvest into projects.

The Milford Hall is part of an old Victorian school in a grade II listed building and boasts classic features, with high ceilings and parquet floors, perfect for larger weddings.

For a more intimate celebration, there is The School Room, perfect for a communal meals, shared with friends.

Venue hire is exclusive and includes a play garden to keep any younger guests busy, with onsite catering options available.

BS3 Community Development is a registered charity and as a social business, reinvesting surplus generated from our profitable services into educational, arts, environmental, health and wellbeing projects that we either run directly or support partners to deliver.

The services we run provide young people with opportunities to learn and develop, ensure older people remain active and well, provide the community with meeting spaces to learn, socialise and keep fit. We also initiate, lead and support projects that take place in and beyond our buildings.
