The Monastery is a Grade II* listed heritage site and neo-gothic architectural treasure once listed in the world’s top 100 endangered sites alongside Pompeii and the Taj Mahal. This truly unique and inspiring venue provides a breathtakingly romantic backdrop to your special day.

The Great Nave, the main event space at The Monastery, with its spectacularly high ceilings, stained glass windows and grand altar can cater for 70 to 350 guests. The Monastery’s beautiful lighting can transform this striking Manchester wedding venue from stunning daytime ceremonial space to dramatic night-time party venue.

Located just outside of Manchester city centre, The Monastery offers a cathedral like setting with an urban twist. The Monastery’s Secret Garden offers an intimate space perfect for photographs and outdoor reception drinks, providing a peaceful retreat only a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
