We had the best day celebrating at Lake Vyrnwy hotel. The team were so efficient, everything went to plan and so smoothly. The venue not only has outstanding views and tasty food but also has excellent facilities for hosting the most amazing weddings.

Following numerous recommendations, we visited Lake Vyrnwy Hotel in December 2021 and instantly fell in love with everything - the view obviously, the location, the food but mostly with the staff and the atmosphere created there.

The lead up to our wedding and our wedding day were no different. Absolutely nothing was a problem and there was always someone on hand to offer assistance before we even asked. Laura is a dream and her love for weddings shows in everything she does. When my hair and makeup were MIA, Laura contacted her own hairdresser and sourced a makeup artist to be on standby should they not show. Laura and the Hotel team made everything perfect. I'm pretty sure they even managed to arrange the beautiful sun-filled cloudless sky for the day!

Our guests individually commended the food (even the mother-in-law who is very picky, and my vegan friend was thrilled with her meal), the relaxed feel to the whole day and that the staff couldn't do enough. My cousin (a man of few words) was gushing over how amazing the staff had treated his disabled dad, offering to help and that nothing was a problem.

We had the most amazing day. Everything was perfect at the hotel and they could not do enough to make the day so special. Laura and her staff were attentive and worked so hard all day. The food was amazing and the venue was spectacular. Could not recommend it highly enough.

We want to say a massive thank you for our amazing wedding at the hotel. It was my ideal to get married there after having visited on many occasions and having got engaged there and Laura made it completely possible.

I didn't have to worry about a thing as she had everything under control. The canapés were delicious and the afternoon tea was amazing. The bacon and egg rolls in the evening were the best we had ever tasted!

All of the staff were incredible and were a joy to have around. A big shout out to Adam who couldn't do enough for us. We spent the next four days there and once again every single staff member were attentive and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family and very special.

We can't wait to return to see you all.

Throughout the whole process, from booking to arranging our day with Laura, exceeded our expectations in every way. The food and the service were exceptional throughout, we were made to feel at ease in our surroundings and were truly looked after during our day.
Lake Vyrnwy now have customers for life, and we shall be returning every year for our anniversary, to see Laura and the lovely staff that are now friends and remember our fondest memory.

The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and it’s beautiful surroundings was absolutely the right place for our wedding. Laura and her team were so helpful and our day was everything we had dreamed of. From the moment we stepped foot into Lake Vyrnwy Hotel we knew it would be our wedding venue. We had the most special time. The staff went over and beyond to make our stay a very special one. Laura our wedding planner was outstanding and kept us up to date over the year before wedding and during the wedding. The drawing room was so beautiful and the wedding suite was so beautiful. The little touches we had in our room was so special. I recommend Lake Vyrnwy for a wedding experience you will treasure forever. We cannot wait to be back .

Lake Vyrnwy captured our hearts when we first visited 6 years ago and we always said if we ever got married this is where we would do it. Fast forward to August 2020 where we began looking at venues for our wedding. Lake Vyrnwy really did stand out head and shoulders above the rest and we just knew that this was where we were going to get married.

From the moment we booked our special day, Lake Vyrnwy were nothing but incredible. Laura answered every question, every request, every query with such speed and detail that we knew everything was in safe hands. Being new to the role, if there was anything she wasn’t sure about she was able to find out and clarify so quickly we never worried about an answer.

We made a long weekend of the wedding by arriving on the Thursday. The hotel organised our Bridal Party afternoon tea the day before in the Conservatory which was incredible. We didn’t need to worry about anything and our guests all loved the chance to catch up before. We spent the Friday evening in the drawing room where our guests were able to eat and drink in a relaxed environment. The whole of the bar team were so attentive and accommodating and we thank them for allowing us to take over this space.

On the day of the wedding everything went without a glitch and Laura dealt with everything behind the scenes incredibly. We had no idea about half the things that were going on (including a request by the registrars to delay the wedding by an hour!) and we cannot thank Laura enough for keeping us both so relaxed that morning.
From the ceremony to the wedding breakfast our guests were all in awe of how incredible the venue and views were and we had so many comments on how amazing the food and drink was. We have always loved the food from the Tower Restaurant but the chefs really did outdo themselves with all the food we had.

Lake Vyrnwy really enabled us to personalise and tailor our wedding to exactly how we wanted it and we honestly had the best day of our lives. We are so grateful for everything the team at Lake Vyrnwy did for us and we cannot wait to come back and visit again soon!

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel really was the perfect venue! From day 1 we were impressed. Laura the wedding planner was brilliant and her attention to detail really put us at ease!
The hotel was brilliant at getting guests' rooms organised. The set up on the day by the hotel staff was amazing everything was spot on!

The food was excellent and lots of our guests commented that they were really impressed with the quality and taste. There were also lots of praise for the other meals guests had during their stay especially the breakfast.

The view at the hotel really is the winner ! It's like getting married in paradise.
We genuinely have no negative comments, everything we needed and wanted was organised and granted to us. We would recommend anyone who wants a stress free wedding in a beautiful setting to get married here!

Absolutely stunning venue with the best backdrop for the pictures. Laura and her team were amazing throughout the day handling the last minute changes and ensuring everything ran smoothly. We received so many compliments about the food, there was plenty of it and tasted gorgeous. We had the most amazing day and would highly recommend Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa from the scenery, the service and reasonable prices all makes for the perfect venue.
