What’s better than getting married? Getting married on the beach! At Carbis Bay, barefooted brides can walk sandy-toed down the aisle, before exchanging seaside vows with their husband-to-be.
As wedding days are remembered forever, they should be perfect. Set against the backdrop of our privately-owned Blue Flag beach, as exotic and exhilarating as any British shoreline, Carbis Bay fits the bill.
Twelve separate areas of the estate are licensed for ceremonies, including the beach and Ocean Venue on the buttery sand, an outdoor spa garden pavilion, beautiful function suites inside the main house, and the cosy coastal Inn the Gannet. From classic to quirky, small and intimate to grand and glam, weddings are expertly tailored to every couple’s precise wishes.
In addition, cocktail parties and barbecues can be thrown overlooking the turquoise waters, perhaps before a beach side firework finale. Also right on the beach are the hotel’s new, coastal-chic Beach Lodges and Suites, some of them boasting hot tubs and sauna pods. Those make for a comfortable and indulgent first night of wedlock, while larger apartments suit bridal parties, groomsmen or travelling families.

From the moment of your enquiry to the delivery of your perfect day, every wedding at Carbis Bay Estate is put together with meticulous detail to create a truly memorable experience. The Estate offers many areas which are licensed for weddings but I love The Wedding Hut directly on the sands of the beach. It’s rustic but chic and allows couples to have their own exclusive venue overlooking the bay with direct access out on to the sand. It’s lovely to plan and deliver weddings at the Estate. We are always available throughout the journey to help share any thoughts and ideas, achieve key milestones and take any of the stress out of the planning process for you.

We were narrowing our options down on venues and all the detail Soffia gave us made it an easy choice to make to agree our dream venue! A long way to go yet however we are big in the planning phase right now!
We ended up booking the beach hut, and I still keep thinking back to how beautiful it was. Myself and Connor new instantly it was right.
Rea showed us round, she was so knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions. She had a information pack for us to take away, offered us coffee, she was very very welcoming, and was not pushy, or persuasive.
After booking the venue we received some champagne and a congratulations card, which was very unexpected, and a lovely surprise!
We can't wait to get married!
The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They also worked seamlessly with our vendors, which really helped to mitigate the stresses of planning!
Our guests are still talking about the delicious food, fabulous cocktails, and wonderful atmosphere.

Carbis bay has always held a special place in our hearts, due to being the first place we had a couple of dates and also we found out I was pregnant here.
So the love for the location was 100%.
And now we have the memory of our wedding.
The team were so attentive and prompt. Listened to my vision and made it come alive and sparkle.
All my guests commented on how smooth and beautiful the place was and also on the team, the way you worked so hard but blended into our guests and became apart of us.
