As some of you know we've just decided to add a winter theme to our wedding and so far its all going well but we still cant figure out table names so ive been thinking we could maybe use the winter theme for names somehow.
Does anyone have any ideas, something wintery but not christmassy.

What about winter in different languages? In Spanish it's invierno, French is hiver etc.
Or quotes about winter? There are so many quotes, and apparently the Eskimos have several different words for snow!

I think there's a few websites that will help, but if you need any more translations, let me know and I'll see if my limited languages can help you :) I know bits of everything haha

You could have different shaped snow crystals for each table... OR different measurements of snow! lol. Or places on earth and how much snowfall they have
I like the different language thing Ataraxia said, go on google translate and go mad ;) Well done for adding the Norwegian one! Oh, and apparently eskimos have about 50 words for snow...or maybe that's just a rumor. Then again in Norwegian I'm sure I could find at least 10 different words for different types of snow ;) xx

I like the idea of the ammount of snow fall. You could name the table the country then in a bowl or science beaker thing the ammount of snow they have in a year if that makes sense x

I have a Norwegian friend, so he often gives me little lessons haha. I can't remember much of it, only little things like 'cow', I love you' and now 'winter' haha
I like the snow crystals one, that would be great if your guests would be interested in a little game before hand?
Could even put little winter related trivia questions on the namecards so people can have a bit of fun guessing?
