It's the way some women are programmed (LOL!), I managed to find my dream dress on the internet for £157.00 just over, that is including a proper garment bag to keep it in. xx

I know the feeling exactly - My dream dress (which I am very lucky to have got) is Ian Stuart and after trying it on nothing would compare, I had to bight the bullet and get it and I just know I am going to feel a million dollars all day in it so to me was worth it. x x

I am the exact same, in magazines if there is an article about shoes or jewllery etc, the one that I like is the most exspenisve! Would you consider buying it second hand?

This woman though always wanted vera wang and has worked hard to afford the type of wedding she wants, it depends on ur attitude to it really, I didn't want to spend a fortune as we've been together for 12 years already and have 2 kids together and another 1 each from b4! I was lucky though, got my dress on the bay and fell in love with it, the seller measured it a million times for me and I won the auction incl p&p for only £72 Bargain xx

    10k now that is steep!
it is the 1st one i have seen in a mag that i actually like the look of, it was in one of these real wedding features, so it was on a real woman on her real wedding day, rather than a stick woman model, maybe thats what attracted me to it?!?

WOW 10k is more than I would have spent on my dress ... having said that I did go over my budget by about half again (oops!) but discussed it with Dan and he said that I should get it if it felt right and I was comparing others to it. Also I'm getting it dyed and shortened so I can wear it again xx

    What's the dress?

I budgeted £2500 for my dress and ended up with a dressmaker who is doing it for £1500, so I'm spending a bit more on my accessories.

I think it all what you like if it cost 100 or 10000 it should matter what the cost so long as you like it and you have the best deal...
