As the title says who keeps taking the stickies off and why? Goff kindly made the weight loss thread a sticky so we can all keep a track of our weight and spur each other on and already it's been taken off with no explanation as to why. Could someone please explain why we keep losing things that have been stuck there for a reason? Its getting a little bit annoying as we never know if we should bookmark them or take it for granted that they are there for us to have easy access to. I wouldn't mind them going if we knew why etc. If they shouldn't be there in the first place then why are they put up there to begin with?

If other brides find this annoying when they disappear without notice then can you also say so.

But as for the other ones going i can TRY to explain that.
We sticky the important ones like the rules, tshirt (because its a comp and can earn you 25,000 points) and calender ones all the time for obvious reasons, then the this weeks brides and daily discussions again we sticky for as long as necessery ie a day or a week.
Then the other threads that get stickied are stickied for a short amount of time for everyone to see them (as boss man doesnt like too many clogging up the forum) then they do get UN stickied after a while. This is because if we kept them all stickied we would have the first 2 or 3 pages as stickies, which would be abit annoying, lets be honest!
They are still there tho, so if you use the search bar (which is why its there so we DONT have to sticky everything) and type in the one you want they should come up or like you said anything you want to keep an eye on bookmark so you can find it again (i have quite a few on mine lol).

I can understand that Hails but the one about weight loss was only done today and its not been there that long. Its something that we hope we can use to monitor our weight loss collectively as a group over the months to keep us going towards our goals. If we can't have it as a sticky would UK Bride give us a page or something we can use? It would be great to have our own little group of support to reaching our goals for the big day. Maybe they could market it in someway? It is something that most brides on here worry about even if it is just to maintain their weight for the big day.

not sure jo but i think there's already afew weight loss posts but at least warning would be nice before its un stickied

I think with it being such a big thing for us brides that we should have some sort of group support for each other. WW and SL make so much money out of us it would be nice to have support from UK bride.

I think that we should have our own page where we can track our weights and also put up meal ideas and motorvation talks. It would keep the forum a little clearer then but give us ladies a place to be able to track our weight and stay motivated.

basically you write on your wall. other brides go onto chit chat and they can see what everyone has written on their own walls............its just here is used more because of the points :-)

Its not i had one that was just for the dates and i cant find it lol. Either being thick or its not there. I cant remember what i was titled but it was just for all of the august brides dates nothing else (ie not the thread august 2011) xx

If it was a CALENDER for that year then i think that was me, :-) i deleted it and left you a message saying it was a waste of time having TWO calenders for 2011 when there is a sticky above for it.
I remember talking to you or ir could have been someone else if this isnt the thread your on about,at the time about it babe via private chat.
Although the sticky is for 2010-2013 there are SEPERATE calenders for EACH year and that was why it was deleted.

I was thinking last night about the weight one. Maybe we could do a competition where UK bride help us to lose weight and the biggest looser (going on percentage of body weight to make it fair to all) gets a prize? Maybe our wedding dress? It would be great publicity for UK bride and gives us brides motivation to get fit for our big day. What do you guys think and can we pass it on to the big boss man!

Of course. I hope you have steal toe caps for when I need a kick up the backside. I've been good for the past week so I can't wait to get home and jump on the scales to see what it says. (admittedly I have had birthday cake today but that is in with the calorie count so I should be alright. I'm eating good for the rest of the day)
