I'm looking on that site (on my wall) - I'm really tempted to order some wedding shoes and maybe some favours off there. Thing is I have read about people receiving a bill for import tax (or whatever it's called) up to a month later after receiving their items?! Can they do this? Do you actually get charged tax etc on top of the price? If so then it's not really as cheap as it looks is it - hmm not sure what to do.
EDIT please leave details of the site on your wall not on the forum thanks Mods

I got my MoH's dress from there. I had to pay import tax. I knew nothing about it. Got a delivery card through saying that I had to make the payment over the phone by card before they would attempt re-delivery. It was about £12 or something like that so the total for her dress was around £67 - still cheaper than getting it in the UK.
The quality was great - I was really surprised. Really heavy material, very well finished (no loose cotton hanging from seams etc.) and it fitted her like a glove.

I think they usually add vat on (so 20 percent) and import tax is normally around 12 percent on the vat inclusive total (although this varies from item to item and country to country) I think it's waived if the total would come to under a tenner.
Watch out for hidden processing fees from the courier as well - this can be up to an extra £25....there are calculators on the web that can help you calculate import and vat on items from overseas.
Personally I think box in the light can be a pretty mixed bag - its not just one supplier, I believe it's an agency which has lots of different suppliers so check each individual product review, just like you would on the bay of e.
For things like favours, it might work out cheaper to order several batches (depending on the postage cost) to keep them below the import tax threshold.
I know a few people who've fallen foul of the whole cat and import tax thing xx

I must admit I was not expecting the import tax, but honestly I was so happy with the dresses I did not mind the extra.

I've only ever had to pay import tax when picking up the package, but the savings were well worth it.
