I am not sure who you actually buy the buttonholes for. Is it just groom ushers best man or do you buy for the family and close guests

It's up to you. We are just buying for groom, his 2 best men (one of whom is OH's dad) and my dad.. so all the men who would be in the same suit.
We don't want to start extending it to others as that's when it gets complicated. So wedding party only.. with corsages for my mum and OH's mum only x
Happily married

We are buying for groom, 2 best men, my dad and my mum. However, a lot of people buy them for all guests, we are not as we feel it is an unnecessary expense. It is completely up to you whether you would like to give them to everyone or have the wedding party standing out x
Got together on 14th March 2010
Got engaged on 25th December 2013
Became Mrs P on 14th May 2016 - best day ever!

I think it would be nice to let the wedding party stand out I never thought of that

We are doing them just for the men in the wedding party. I hadn't thought of doing corsages for the Mums.. is that quite a popular thing to do?
We have ordered them for H2B, groomsmen, both dads & my stepdad, our mums & my stepmum. I've also ordered a corsage for my nan & a buttonhole for my grandad. H2B's mum asked if we were buying them for everyone as that's something her family have always done, but once I explained that they are £3 each & I'd need 90 more, she understood why we weren't bothering.

We have ordered

Michgib I was saying the same to H2B earlier, were both getting ready at different locations!! Our florist delivers them but I'm not sure if she'll drop them at 2 locations? I'll have to remember to ask her this when we meet up.
CommentAuthorJennK
you can ask the florist to deliver to more than one place if you need, there may be an extra charge though

We're doing Groom, Best man, Dads, Stepdad, Mums and Stepmum. Our florist has said that she can deliver to different locations but it's not too bad for us because H2B will be at his parents house which is about 10 minutes from our house where I'm staying
CommentAuthormichgib
This could end up with a big delivery charge ha ha

The florist will deliver them to our venue on the morning of the wedding.

We had them for key male attendees, so it's different for everyone. For us, my husband (with an additional flower that was the same as my bouquet), his Dad, my mothers husband, my husbands son, and my 2 brothers. I think if you have ushers, they are usually included.
CommentAuthorAprilS61
We have them for the men in the bridal party. So that's my groom, his 2 best men, 2 dads and 2 brothers who are ushers.
As for delivery they normally go to the bride but somebody could pick them up from the shop for the men, or get two delivery stops (may be an extra charge)

Reading your comments has got me thinking I should order my brothers buttonholes!! H2B's brother is one of his groomsmen so he has a buttonhole & his 2 sisters are my bridesmaids so have bouquets, so they are the only immediate family that don't have one!!
