We sent out our day invites about 6 weeks ago and nearly have them all back. we asked for them back by 21st march just incase we had any people decline. so far only 3 which we expected but had to invite as family.

Now i was wondering when should i sent out the evening invites and give them to reply? i have no idea xx

If you have all your replies back from the day I would send them out now and upgrade some to day if you want? Its what I'm going to do. Once all the days have come back I will see if any decline then send out more day ones instead of evening.

Joanne I would say most people do include them to get a reply back to who is coming and who isn't. Do you know which ones you have invited are coming or not? If you do it doesn't matter but if you need final numbers for a seating plan and for the venue etc then you may need to just give each person a call to find out.

i need to order them this week and then will send them out as soon as they arrive. we have already increased our numbers by 10 so invited a few more friend but need to work out which other 5 people we will "upgrade"

i'm just sending my evening out with my day time about xmas time cos most of my family are only invited to the evening since i hardly see them and don't justify spending money on them just for a day and then never see them again lol x
