I'm getting married in June and have 7 in the wedding who need matching suits: Groom Best man My dad H2bs dad H2bs two brothers Ring bearer
I was just wondering when they should start looking for their suits?

We getting married in april and have already sorted out the men we only have 3 and got them from mat-a-lan. Have to say they all look fab in them.

Are you hiring them? If so no harm in looking now for them. Adults can be measured up with a measuring closer to the date and any kids will need to be done closer to the time. We had ours sorted for a while now.

Are you renting or purchasing. Either way I'd start looking now just so you have enough time to pick your suit, get all the measurements now. A national suit hire chain suggests arranging your suits before 3 months to go.

We're hiring our suits and we placed the order last year, last week we had all the measurements taken and suits are due to arrive 3 weeks before the wedding. It depends really if your renting or purchasing x
We can't afford to purchase so we're hiring, think it'll be from the company that looks like a year, operating through the woods of green. I have no idea, and its getting them all together. The ring bearer is at school (he's 13) and one of the brothers is based in Leicester. However, he's only videoing the ceremony and isn't an "active" party member so to speak so I don't think it's imperative that he has a matching suit?

We're getting married in August and haven't done anything about suits yet. Trying to persuade H2B to have a look around during October half term! That way he may finally do it at Xmas! He's soooooooo slow at everything! x

We hired from the same shop as you're looking at Nina. Well husband hired and we finished up buying for the best man, usher and my dad because when we visited the shop they had all suits to buy half price (as well as shirts) so it was something that they could keep afterwards as well. We found Greenwoods very reasonable for hiring as well.
And to answer your question, we looked/bought/ordered the hire suit about 2 1/2 to 3 months before the wedding.

Was just having this convo with my other half earlier.. he doesnt want to do it yet, he reckons one month before, I said no ! so got to wait till new yr i think :S

I don't know what to do now, we went to the woods so green earlier and the suit that h2b tried on before and really suited him is £90 to hire!!! Little bit expensive as we need 6 matching that's £540!!!!!

We are hiring ours & were getting married July next year, have been told to go in January time to choose the suits for everyone. Then beginning of July (were getting married end of july) to go sort the kids out, youngest will be 4 next october & the eldest will be nearly 9... were having 6 suits in total.

Im sending them off to start looking in January - that's 4 months before, we don't want to do it to early coz the measurements may change, especially when 4 of them go to the gym a lot, so the later the better really :-) x We have noticed Quite a few suit shops do a deal if u hire so many suits and the groom gets his for free :-)
