as the title says when should the groom give the bride her present?
h2b has got me something but isnt sure when he should give it to me....in his speech, later on in day, in the morning?

a will already be at venue when h2b gets there so he's gonna send one of my son's( usher/page)up to the bridal suite with my pressie :) (jewellery) so a can wear it goin down the isle :)x

As I am getting ready at the venue and he is not we've already given each other our presents but we're not opening them till the morning. We chose them together so it's no surprise. He got me a bracelet and I got him a mont blanc pen.x

I think a lot of grooms leave it somewhere for their bride to open in the morning, or someone (best man/bridesmaid) to take it to her
An usher brought mine to my parent s the night before and the bridesmaids gave it to me on the morning of the wedding.

Ermm I would say in the morning and he could organise for someone to deliver it to you or to give you it the night before so you can open the gift in the morning of your wedding day. Paul bought me an apple tree (there is a story why lol!)with a plague saying it was bought for me to mark our wedding day but I didnt get this til after our wedding as it hadnt been bought til after. xx

We all had dinner the night before the wedding at my brothers and he gave her her gift the night before. And one in the morning at breakfast! xxx

I'm going to give marks present to my dad to give to him either the night before the wedding or the wedding morning, marks already given me my gift as he was too excited to wait, but i gave it back to him and told him to wait until the day lol xx

I'm planning on giving my gift to h2b after the reception before we go to bed. Minds out of the gutter, its an actual present. lol. I figured the exchange of gifts should be a personal thing done away from the crowds, and his gift hasn't got anything to do with what he'll be needing during the day so it will wait until after. When he's done the wedding without projectile vomiting, THEN he can have his present. Haha!

i gave my hubbys his the night before, but he sent the best man round to my mums on the morning with my pressie, a bracelet and a lucky sixpence xx

i think its best to get it either the night before to open it up in the morning or in the morning itself :)

we aren't giving each other a pressie on the day as we decided to buy each other something on honeymoon x
