ok so when i got engaged i knew i wanted to ask my best friend and actually my only real tru friend. Now however i feel like i would like my H2B'S two brother's girlfiends to also be my bridesmaids! currently one is giving birth today!!! so may have to wait a few days and the other i will see next weekend at her engagement party( i am her bridesmaid along with a few others. Everyone has assured me that they will both be happy and say yes but i feel guilty for not asking straight away, is it too late to ask as i get married next may on the 26th or am i just being paranoid?

I'd defo ask them, if that's what you want! You could always say that you weren't sure that your budget would stretch to more than the one, but you've looked at it and you can....Hx

thanks girls! I thought for someone to be your bridesmaid you had to know them really well but i think as they are coming to the wedding and the boys are best men i thought it would be nice to have them as bridesmaids too! i always thought bridesmaids should be like your best friends that you see all the time but ive come to the conclusion that they are more like family, we have been through some tough times together and they are both lovely people which is why i would and my other half would like them to be part of the extra special day :D

I havent asked mine yet, apart from my moh and we got engaged 14 months ago - i needed to see what the budget was like as i dont want to ask and then realise i cant afford them!! I dont think they will be offended - i hope :)

yeh everyone has been really helpfull :) i must admit what started it off was that i kept thinking people will ask why i only have 1 bridesmaid and it will look odd in photos then after being asked to be a bridesmaid by one of the girls im talking about i started to think about having them as maybe it would be good that i have other people to reli on as my friend who i asked first hasnt had the best of times recently. I have a brother bit no sisters so i am looking foward to the girly bit of getting ready and having them there to tell me i look ok! x
