Hiya hun, I'm getting married at xmas too!!
I had thot about crackers too, where did you get them?
I was maybe going to put a lottery ticket in them with a note saying "lucky in love" or something like that.
Had also thot about personalised xmas tree baubles but all seem quite expensive!
    xx

That sounds great; How about something novelty like making santas, snowmen and Christmas tress e.t.c out of polymer clay or salt dough with your wedding date on? :)

lottery tickets, chocolate, sweets... Instead of rubbish jokes you could have icebreaker questions inside (in order to get conversations started on the tables) x

We got some mini love hearts packs and put one of those in each as well as a 'moto' saying we were making a donation on their behalf to a charity.
I love crackers - great idea!

Charity donation cards would be nice if you would like to donate to a charity. Or if you can afford it (may work out the same cost as charity donation cards) maybe a voucher for a free drink at the bar? Maybe limit the drink to a specific two which are the cheapest available?

Princess2be.. I made them myself... I have made all my wedding stationary so everything matches.

H2b said scratch cards... But I didn't know if people want to take away a momentum.

I have made my own questions to get conversation started between people... They are all about us or wedding trivia... Everyone has a different one so if people from the other tables were to look they are all different.

I've also made my own wedding quotes... From famous people or films again everyone's is different.

We also thought about having a un decorated xmas tree and to ask people to bring a decoration each to put on the tree! But our invites have already gone out so not sure how we could do it know!

The bauble idea is good might look into it!

I just wanted something small to put in... That wasn't sweets... Keep ideas rolling it will inspire me ;o)

i think we are going to put in scratch cards and cancer research pins badges... as cancer has affected both sides of the family and as its xmas we will put a note saying xmas is time for giving a dontation has been made on your behalf to Cancer research!
we have been thinking about it for so long and really cant think of what to put in them!

i was going to make keyrings for the bridal party away! but i will welcome any ideas as we havnt purchased anything yet
