What sort of underskirt/hoop would you recommend for an A-line style dress? I know you can get A-Line underskirts but can you wear other styles too?

I'm wearing a single hooped petticoat under my A line dress. That's what the bridal shop advised x

i cant help as I am having a huuuuge dress so I just went for a hooped skirt. However, you can get a simple underskirt with just one hoop at the bottom which are available in most stores but I would look at them in the store and then order off the bay. My huge hoop was only 29 from the bay and yet the bridal shop were going to charge me 75 for the tinyiest little thing.

I've got an a line and have got a 3 netted underskirt with a single hoop, Jupon 163 - I found them for a third of the price the shop wanted on a site called princess sparkle :-)

It's the same one I was talking about, so triple netted, with a single hoop - here's a pic of me with it on under my dress :-)

Ooh and they have different styles on there, so have a browse as some have more hoops, some more net etc. If you're stuck, go into a bridal store and try on a dress similar to the one you have, then see what underskirt looks best with it then you know what you need to buy! :-)

our bridal shop doesnt use the hoop only the petticoat so i bought one similar on the tinternet, but now i would love to try and hoop on and see if there is an difference. the pic of me in my dress has my underskirt on but now when it it doesnt look flattering. im wondering if i can take the hoop out my black petticoat and add it on see what happens. anyone any advice on how to do it? xx

When i tried my dress on in the shop I had a single hoop on with elastic waist. All the hoops I can find are tie waist.

I had a single hoop with two layers of netting ;) £13 from ebay :) cupcake it was elastic waist ill try find the link for you :)

am wearing a a-line dress with a singe hoop under skirt got mine from the bay hun and it was elastic waist x

I have ordered an A line hoop-less petticoat, I know wearing a hoop makes it easier to walk, but as my dress has a plain skirt I didnt want the hoop wire to show through the fabric.
