I sat at my mums this afternoon having a natter & a cuppa tea and the subject cropped up about going away outfits! Since I'm not going anywhere after the wedding I thought nothing of this.. But since the topic got brought up, it's played on my mind so now I'm intrigued to know what you fab girls are wearing/wore the day after your big day?xx

The hotel we are staying in is 5 min walk from reception and 5 min from beach and marina so was thinking of something casual for us to go for walk to take in what happened 24 hrs before lol We won't be honeymooning until 2 months later so will be keeping more special stuff until then .... However saying that any excuse for new clothes so I may treat myself to new stuff for day after lol

I just had a maxi dress ... As it was jubilee weekend I has a blue n white stripe dress n little red cardi ... Lol
I never thought of that! most of my family and his are staying in the hotel of the reception so we will all be around for breakfast together the next morning. Any suggestions for a breakfast and the rest of the day by the beach with all the family?

I was thinking something like a nice maxi dress for our day after. Me, the OH and most of the family are staying in the same hotel, so we will be going down for breakfast together etc. I didnt want to wear anything too fancy, not if ive been in a wedding dress all day lol
not even paid any thought to this. probably something suitable for my hangover. scruffy jeans, vest top, pumps. and big sun glasses!!!

We're staying at our venue the night after too as we won't really be able to enjoy it on the day/night itself. So for breakfast I'll prob be super-hungover and just wear jeans and a top, but I plan on bringing a nice dress with me to wear for dinner that night. I also have some cute undies/nightwear that again prob won't get an outing on the wedding night, so will prob wear those to get ready it etc ;-)

Since I will have stayed 200 miles from our home with my parents the week before and will need all my nicest summer clothes down here in Sussex to be packed for our honeymoon when we have made the journey back, I dont think I will have much choice- I think jeans, tshirt and pumps. On our way back south we are staying a night at one of our favourite hotels from back when we started going out so I will need something decent for dinner and then something to travel the rest of the way home. We will literally get in, unpack, repack, bed and then plane.

We got married in July and I wore a maxi dress for the next morning- all of our family and friends stayed at the venue and so we all had breakfast together. It was a beautiful day the day after the wedding!

We just stayed the night of the wedding at our reception venue then after checking out went home to pack for honeymoon the next day so the day after the wedding I was just in jeans and t shirt xx

Not something I have thought about tbh however someone joked to me once I should get a "Mrs" t-shirt for the next day and sent me a link for one. We're going to be having a 4 day mini-moon the day after the wedding at the cottage which is on the venue grounds and we have some friends and family staying around too so we're making a group hol of it. I'm probably going to want to be as cosy as possible. Probably jeans and t-shirt or if it's hot a nice summer dress.

I'm hoping the day after will go to my fav restraunt for a relaxed lunch with family who want to come, before going off to London the following day and people go home.

I'm just going to be wearing jeans,a tshirt and converse or a maxi dress and sandals as we have to be up and out at around 6am the morning after to drive down to gatwick for our honeymoon, so will be something to easily travel in x

i went to a wedding a couple of years ago where the bride n groom came down to breakfast in jeans n t-shirts .... admitedly the t-shirts were rather special .. we gave them as wedding gift , they had been sprayed with mr & mrs respectively plus surname by a top graffiti artist while we had been out in las vegas ( hers was all sparkly)
Asked my OH if he would wear a "Husband" T-shirt the next day... his answer was "No, I'll wear my Sex, Drugs and Sausage Rolls T-shirt"

We will be getting the train to Manchester the day after probably hungover then flying off on our honeymoon so it will have to be comfy. I love the idea of a Mrs top tho however I dont think my OH will be up for it lol xx
