I was going to walk down to "All You Need is Love" but then I heard "One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story again and knew it was right. I remember as a kid watching Leonard Bernstein conducting Kiri Te Kanewa and Jose Carreras in a TV special with my mum. I know she'll bawl like a baby when she hears it, especially if I manage to keep it a secret.

Not sure if we bother with a lot of music for guests to sit down but if then I'd love to have "All you need is love" by the Beatles - it puts a smile on everyones face. But haven't decided this yet.
Decisions made: I'll walk down the aisle to Jets "Are you gonna be my girl" and we'll exit to "Have love, will travel" by the Black Keyes.
Have not decided yet on tune during signing - the obvious choice for us would be along the Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix lines but I think I'd like something really squeaky happy bouncy :-)

Our song is Mr Brightside (not the lyrics lol, more that it always seems to have been playing at different points in our relationship). I'd love to have a string quartet or cello & piano play it but we're going abroad. Been trawling the internet for good instrumental cover versions but had given up hope and moved onto finding an alternative song.... until I found this cover! :D
It's beautiful! By a guy called Scott Pettipas, played on a couple of acoustic guitars with touches of violin here and there :) I love it so much, I just had to leave the room cos my eyes welled up and I want to keep it a surprise from h2b lol. Xx

I think we have possibly changed our minds. Not sure yet. We had our hearts totally set on Jet - Are you gonna be my girl. It means so much to us and was I think the first thing we agreed on straight away. H2b wants his sister to sing it while playing on the guitar. I don't like this idea so much because I think the song looses it's bouncy magic without the big drumming intro. But I am not opposed to her singing something when I walk down - so I suggested another possibility to him expecting him to veto it anyway. But he likes the idea! So we might change it. It sounds more romantic but it's much less meaningful to us as a couple - Angus and Julia Stone did an accoustic version of Grease "You're the one tgat I want" - I love this version and sil sings similar to Julia Stone. Now I am all torn because I love both ideas!!

How long are everyone's tracks? (& how many people are walking down before you, if any?) Just wondering cos we're going abroad so I doubt I'll have anyone walk down before me - would be a bit silly having as many people walking down the aisle as watching lol. So I'm not sure how long the music will need to be.. I've edited my track so it's 1 min 50 sec - is that too long or short? Xx
