What is the worst thing to ever happen to you whilst planning your wedding/ wedding day/ hen party / honeymoon? xx

The worst thing was when I put my husband's passport in the washing machine three weeks before we were due to fly out on our honeymoon. He had to go to hospital after his stag do when he fell over and hit his head so I had no sleep through worry. I put his jeans in the washing machine without checking it properly. Fortunately we managed to get him a new passport, but the skin of our teeth, and got the new passport on the day he went and applied for one. £128 was a bit steep but was necessary.

Another downer was when I had to 'demote' my previous MOH because she showed no enthusiasm and did nothing that I asked, including booking the wrong hotel. I promoted my SIL/bridesmaid to MOH and she was perfect. I felt awful demoting her because I was worried it would tear our friendship and I'd upset her, but she seemed OK with it, as far as I was aware.

Apart from that the wedding planning went smoothly.

Passports are so expensive anyway.. mine runs out 2 months after our wedding. x

I will do the same, Plus my picture looks like a prison picture lol x

Haha so does my husband's, he looks like a thug in his picture where his stubble was a little thicker than normal.

My guy looks like someone you'd see on Crimewatch in his passport photo - because he has to take his glasses off and you're not supposed to smile in the pic, he looks very different from normal.

I look miserable in mine - like I'm about to start crying or something. It's better than my old one though - I was wearing a white top which combined with the white background made me look like a disembodied head :(

I was 16 when I had my passport photo taken, at the time I kept laughing whilst trying to keep a straight face and mum threatened to not renew my passport so I tried to keep a straight face - instead I looked like a moody teenager! Every time I go through passport control in another country they always comment how moody I looked when I was actually trying to not laugh.

I look like I'm going to murder someone in mine haha !! My H2B looks like a sulky 6 year old that's hasn't got their way haha xxx

The worst has already happened, my fear my gran would not be there. :( . Only thing that can spoil it now is anything happening to anyone else!

Same here, my nan died in August and it makes me sad knowing she wont be there. Means i'll now have no grandparents there. Other than that, if all my suppliers let me down that would be a pretty big deal and potentially give me a breakdown, but hopefully that wont happen!

We probably wont have a honeymoon abroad as h2b doesnt like flying, so we wont need to worry about passports, which is good as mine runs out next year and I look like a ghost as I'm so pale and my hair was blond at the time!

I won't have any of my grandparents there either as mine are also all dead :( I think my gran and papa on my mum's side would have loved my H2B.

:( really. Thats shocking. Looks like im renewing my Passport next year then.. Thats so bad. ill have to check H2B passport aswell. Its awful hearing about grandparents :( i love mine more than anything. they brought me up alongside my dad. ( my mum wasnt in the picture) im really close to them. Hugs to all who's grandparents are no longer with them xxx

The worst thing that has happened in my planning is a married into the family - family member did something really bad, now my mum & my sister wont be able to attend as we lost them. then what with all the stress over that situation my h2b decided to not be my h2b anymore!

thankfully, h2b is now h2b again so things are starting to look up.

lets just say there was assault charges, and numerous other charges to the married in person, now for their own safety & that of my kids, i dont know where the 2 women in my life are. the married in person is locked up atm. I cant go into more detail over a public forum, but it doesnt affect me too much anymore as i forced myself to believe i out-lived them as it was the only way to get me out of my state of depression after it in order to get my @rse out of bed & look after my kids. It all happened during my break from UKB.

its not the first time this particular person has chosen badly! i was with her the first time, but having my own family now, i have to protect them, do whats best for them. i wish things could have been different (like her taking my advice in the first place, like me being a witness so that i could sign "mickey mouse" to make their marriage be invalid - mickey mouse being a fictional character obviously would invalidate the certificate... & yes i would have done that!) I knew things would end badly, just wish she had listened to me.

i have to be, i have kids to think about. it took me a few months, especially with getting unwanted calls from "married in", had anti d's that weren't working, then one day i woke up to my kids screaming at eachother, fighting with eachother, kicking, hitting, & i suddenly thought... "if she could see me now, she'd kick my f-ing @rse!" told myself to get up & be the mum i should be, the mum i was before all of it. I took myself off the meds.

I got myself back on track in a motherly sense, then decided I wasn't going to have any of this cr@p from my partner - I figured he obviously wanted to be with me, we were still an item even if we werent engaged anymore. I got back on here, had help from you ladies to write a poem which asked him to marry me, cooked a 3 course meal, ate by candle light, & made him read the poem!

Why do i appear strong now? Because I hold my head up high, I smile through, because I have to! I'm needed!

My recurring daydream/nightmare is tripping up walking down the aisle in front of everyone - I almost tripped over last time I tried the dress on as my heel got caught in all the layers, so am now really paranoid!!

Not the worst thing that could happen but the most likely lol
