Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. What is everyone having or had for their wedding days x

My something blue is my pearl necklace that my parents gave to me when I got confirmed - It has little blue beads separating the pearls. I haven't really thought about the rest tbh! New is my wedding dress I suppose, my Mum is letting me borrow her wedding shoehorse I think and old.... Do family relatives count?! Any suggestions on the last one? x

mmm, I don't know what to have either.. I cant see me wanting to borrow anything off anyone that will go with my outfit..ha.. I don't have anything old that I want to have on me either, but maybe my mum or gran will give me something and hadn't thought that it could just be a old coin.. so maybe that . Blue will prob be a garter... or im toying with having blue shoes/boots .. liking the comment " does old relatives count "...ha..

Does the engagement ring really counts like old? lol I'm always thinking of something that passed through generations lol I don't think mum has anything to pass to me though lol

Same here camilaL my mother has nothing to pass down to me either. I was just going to opt out of the whole tradition, considering nothing else will be traditional that day anyway.

I literally have nothing for old or borrowed! I have nothing that can be passed down. My MIL said I might be able to borrow her mothers ring to cover both, but it's gold and would really annoy me as I'm quite OCD.

CamilaL - my engagement ring has been passed through generations so I think it counts.

I still have no idea about what to wear for any of them lol Would love to have the something blue on my headpiece :3

I think the something old is nice if you can get something that's passed through generations-but not everyone can have that, it really doesn't matter if you don't have it.
My MIL is going to buy me a bracelet bought out of spoons made in the year I was born, I'm thinking of using that as my something old, as although the bracelet will be new the spoons are old ;)

I'm borrowing my mum's necklace, my new will be my dress, blue I guess garter or something. Old I could use my fiancé haha (he's only 2 years older but we have a running joke that he's an old man)

I had...
Something old - my moms little pearl ivory bag she used on her wedding day Something new - pretty much everything! Lol Something borrowed - again my moms bag and also hired the hoop for under my dress lol Something blue - I had blue glittery toe nails done and also had blue bow on the hoop under my dress. And I had a sixpence in my shoe also :)
