I've just been through town and its chocker (i live in a little town in Somerset) all because Jenson Button, who comes from Frome is in the town, i've actually never seen so many people in town. Personally i don't see the obsession but each to there own i suppose. It'll be good for local business if nothing else.

ok we have the ashley cole and cheryl well we did, chris evans, roger taylor, anthea turner, sue barker. damon hill, seb coe, peter stringfellow eergh! phil collins, michael ball, dean richards, jonny wilkinson quite close and my mum there are more but cant remember.

I'm stuck with Jenson Button too ... oh and Deborah Meaden (from Dragon's Den) lives close, as does Damon Hill, Russell Howard is from Weston, which is close by, Craig Charles (red dwarf), Jethro, Benny Hill, Bill Bailey and Justin Lee Colins. There's also a few film stars in Chard.

I come from Bristol, so quiet a few famous people went to our uwe, like Derren Brown, Ewan Blair (Son of Tony Blair PM), Hugo Weaving,Matt Lucas and David Walliams (Little Britain) and Lee Evans.
Cary Grant was born here, and Justin Lee Colins. And Nick Park, who works for ardmin, infact my H2B worked for Ardmin so knows him, oh and my H2B's dad is kinda famous, hes Terry Brain, the guy who wrote, directored and animated 'Trap Door' and 'Stop it and Tidy Up', and he also animated on Chicken Run :) xx

Apparently Lois Maxwell (miss moneypenny) used to live here. Charlie Higson (comedian and actor apparently) Samuel Portway (who, he has a road named after him but i don't actually know who he is) and Christina Rossetti (famous poet apparently) and her mother used to run a school here.
