My flowergirls are 2,3 and 4 years old.

In my head I have always thought I would get them some kind of magic wand made by the florist. But now I have seen some lovely dollybags with a large flower on the front in an exact match to the dress. They are gonna be holding a pageboys hand on the way up the aisle so they'll only have one hand free. Do u think we would get away with them carrying just a dollybag or is it right that they should have some kind of floral arrangement - either posy or wand?

Plus what are u guys doing? x

My twins will be about 16 months old and have artificial wands! Don't know how long they will last, my neice is 3 and she will have a wand and my other neice is 8 and will have a artificial posey of roses that she can keep which will match my best friend who has a posey of real flowers! I didn't pay alot for the wands off bay of e so don't mind too much if they get wrecked! xxx

My wee flowergirl carried a wand with a red rose on it to fit with my bouquet when she walked up the aisle holding my bridesmaids hand. She is really into disney princess and the like so was very excited to be having her own "magic wand" as she called it. xx

i cant decide what to give mine! I'm having gerberas for the flowers so was torn between flower girl having a corsage to wear, or just carrying a lovely big single stem gerbera with a bit of embellishment. What do you think?

I can't decide between a basket with petals in or those pomander balls but the 2nd option will be harder to do myself plus my BMs will be 4 7 and 11 so not sure if they will look too young for the 11 yr old it's confusing x

It does seem wand is super popular! I thought I was being quirky, but doesn't seem so, hehe! I do want the fairy wings - perhaps I will just have to do it without h2b's knowledge (not sure how as they are both his nieces!) Pomander balls are lovely too, I think they are just so cute.

Leah, I *love* the pony - that would be too cute, hehe

my 2 9yr old BM's are having a wrist corsage, which will be a smaller version of the one my MOH has on, which will tie into the button holes and my boquet. Our florist does a lovely wired handbag, which has flowers coming out it, I thought they were lovely too. I guess it depends on the BM's too, some are more likely to hold something than others I think...

Hmmmmm lots of ideas here. Ooooh the wings sound lovely (for the evening). Wands are the popular choice but have concerns like the others that they might whack each other. (not a gentle bunch - very boisterous)
Love the bunny too! I'm liking the idea of the dollybag being a gift too! Cheers girls x

My flowergirls are 3 & 6 i toyed with loads of ideas, but have decided on a wand, with 2 roses in it - just because they love anything princessey. My other option was going to be a small bag with roses on the front - looked v cute...v cheap from littlewoods.

I really wanted a basket with petals in it for my daughter who will be two and a half when we marry but wasn't sure if my venue would allow her to throw the petals on the ground, my florist suggested we could have a basket of petals anyway- but knowing our daughter she would throw them everwhere anyway! We opted for a star wand- but never considered if she might bash people with it as she is quite boistrious- luckily though she will be the youngest there!
