the adelphi have got an offer on at the minute for £999 for 2010 and £1499 for 2011/12 and you get

we're getting married in a church but reception is in aintree rececourse. you can hav your ceremony there too. it's stunning. little expensive but amazing. my MIL cried.

i was looking at aintree last night and bl00dy hell its expensive lmao. was having a look at hard days night hotel too, they had a package for £100pp!!! for 50 people thats 5k! rediculous. people must pay it though lol xx
people must. we're having it very small as a result. the day time is 60people and it's still 5,500! we've saved in other areas and they provide things like centre pieces and dinner stationary with the price. we also get tickets to next years grand national! but it is the one area that stresses me out. i'm very organised and nearly everything is booked.....just got to pay for it all now!

hey katy, theres a lovly place just off of edge lane called devonshire house its got lovely gardens and the rooms are nice. the crown plaza by the albert dock is also lovely xxx

Hi katy we are having our reception in the devonshire house hotel edge lane ! they fall over backwards to help you in there the gardens our stunning they have 5 rooms all different sizes to suit any wedding. They have 55 hotel rooms and you can pre book as many as you need where as some place only let you have so many. i would recommend the dev to any one and every one ! ! ! been to a few wedding there my self and havent come accross one fault thats why we choose it for our day.

The Alicia Hotel, Sefton Park is lovely and very reasonable too. My sister got married there, great gardens etc for piccys. There is also the Crowne Plaza in Speke or if you don't mind the travel there is Thornton Hall over in the Wirral which is where I'm getting married next year. Or there is Thornton Manor, Malmaison, Croxteth Hall xx

I emailed the Alicia hotel last week to arrange a viewing and they got back to me on monday asking what time so i emailed straight back saying what time and they never got back to confirm. was meant to be going today but obviously couldnt so im not too impressed with them lol xx

does it have to be liverpool? theres thornton manor nr ellesmere port and crabwall manor and the mollington banastre near chester. Theres leesall castle near liverpool but this was a little run down at the time but i think is due for a renovation x

Ah thanks luvlifejen - I do love the hotel but driving through town last night I was gutted it wasnt a little closer to the Albert Dock...but not going to change it! It won't bother me when it's all done ha.
