I had thought about Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars as I'm a massive fan of theirs, but then I discovered Daughtry!

The first time I listened to Daughtry was the night my grandmother passed away, and their song Home always reminds me of her... on their second album there's a song called Life After you... it's about the only song that we've agreed on and it's absolutely beautiful!

Well h2b has finally come up with the perfect song for our first dance. Take That - Rule the World! I love Take That and he paid a fortune for tickets for me to go and see them in June. Patience saved our relationship in the begining because he'd been hurt by his ex and was a little bit shy with emotion so I was thinking of ending it before I fell too deep. I was sat in Tesc o car park and patience came on the radio and when I listened to the words I cried and realised I wanted to be with him forever.

When he told me about Rule the World I asked if he'd just chosen it to make me happy and he said "no babe, with your brains and my braun, I reckon we really could rule the world". Gotta love my man, he makes me cry with laughter. x

We're having a live lounge version of Foo Fighters, My Hero, as this was the first gig we went to together than the one song that made the hair on the back of our necks stand up!

I'd Love our second song to be 'Kiss with a Fist' by Florence and the Machine, as we are forever play fighting, and get told off by him mum for messing around pretending to punch one another!

ours has changed again! We've now committed to Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton as Adam really wanted it and his dad is singing for our first dance (he's a fantastic singer). We don't really have a song thats special to us and its one that he sings beautifully so it seems like a good idea :o)

We were originally going to go for elbow, one day like this but I'm a bit sensitive to the line that goes 'shaking off the heavy one' lol plus ronnie and jack had it in eastenders after we'd decided on it and it seems to be everywhere now. We then decided to have First time ever I saw your face covered by Stereophonics as they were the first band we went to see together, but I thought it was a bit sad for a wedding song and was more angling toward jack johnston better together, hey soul sister by train or i'm yours jason mraz - I love the upbeat wedding songs - but Kiss me is now RIGHT up there, its beautiful! I'm gonna be a nightmare from now until September lol x

I love the original Etta James at Last- haven't heard the Beyonce version- but the song is amazing. A wonderful idea for first dance as a married couple.

Officially, our first dance will be a St Bernard's Waltz as we are having a ceilidh. However, just after the evening guests arrive, we're having a comedy musical cabaret act called Frisky and Mannish (fingers crossed we can secure them). Chances are people will be up and dancing along so the first dance might actually be a hilarious slow version of Saturday Night by Whigfield. Check it our on you tube- they performed it on Scott Mills' show!

aww we had snow patrol chasing cars, i wasnt mad on having that as our first dance it didnt seem right but it was our song so we went for it and it was lovely and everytime i hear it now makes me smile and brings a tear to my eye! :)
