What are people doing for wedding favours. is any one doing anythink unusual! i stuck between a number of things. :) x

I'm having: Cupcake Lipglosses in Bonbonnieres for the younger women Handbag Lipglosses in Bonbonnieres for the older women Seed sticks in little cards for the older men Headphone wrappers in little cards for the older men
I'm also doing some chocolate dragees in birdcage favour boxes for all, and slotting sticks with conversation starters in the napkins...

Were having cupcakes as our main favour as i couldnt decide weather to have a wedding cake or a cupcake tower. This way we have both hehehe. We also have a single red paper rose that double as place names and maybe a scroll with a poem on that im making myself (not sure on the scrolls yet tho).

i'm just having organza drawstring bags with boring sugared almonds (yum yum). i was gona scatter al the tables with sweets and hav a bowl of marshmallows as center pieces but now we havin a banqueting table instead so i keeping the sweets for the night and doin individual favours for day xx

Dont think Im having any to be honest...could do without the added expense. I did make hand made table name cards which I suppose could double up as favors given they have a little verse explaining the origin of the person's name and its meaning! Think if I have extra cash for favors will likely make a charity donation for projects supporting single parents (as I was one before meeting h2b) x

Not having favours. They are getting a scroll on their table with a poem in it.
We have written a poem explaining that their favour is in the form of a donation to the british heart foundation and cancer research.
The money we would have spent on the favours is getting divided up between the charities.
We would have had sugared almonds thought SO instead, as we have 5 tables. We are naming them after the almond meanings Health, Happiness, Fertility, Wealth and Long life. x

I'm having mini bottles of freixenet bubbly, they come in a little pink cooler sleeve too and look SO cute. And being scottish it has to be whisky miniatures for the men! pic of the bubbly on my wall

There are a few cancer charities that do wedding favors... I thought it was just cancer research until I went to a wedding fair and there was another cancer charity there. Will def be having favours that will donate to a cancer charity

I love doing hardanger, so the pin cushions will be made with that. Very time consuming but they will look pretty, hopefully. lol xx
