When shopping in my usual charity shops I found this at Save the Children in Worksop , Nottinghamshire . I tried it on , and I fell in love ! I put it back though :( Came home , freted all night cos I wanted it ! Thankfully when I went back day after and there it was , still hanging there :) I really don't know why I put it back ! Test myself I guess ....

There's no designer's name in the dress , so I am persuming it was personally made for the past bride .
I am going to make the dress my style . Keeping the train and maybe the sleeves , but it will look very different once it's finished ! I have a few photos in my scrapbook of what I am aiming for , but we will see . With a chathedal veil to go with it , I think it will look awesome !
Although any ideas are very welcome :)

Awwwwww , thanks everyone :) I love it . I love second hand stuff . When you've got four daughters it's hard to spends 100's on a dress . I was helping out Save the Children charity , so as well as bagging an awesome bargain , I have helped out a charity close to my heart :) It's lace and looks expensive . Once it's redesigned , it will look like it's from a bridal shop ;)

I put a deposit on a charity shop wedding dress a few weeks ago. At £120 I thought it was a bargain but I've not paid the rest of the money as I have since changed my mind. Its not the fact that its second hand its just because it needs too much work done to it.
If you are confident enough you can alter it then do it!
