I am a bit stuck with how much cars cost and need to put this in my budget. I am only going less then a mile from my mums on the morning of the wedding to the church and will then need the car to take me and H2B to the reception venue which is about a 10 min drive from the church. All in all I will need the car for around 2 hours max (incl waiting time whilst we are in the church)

Our car is costing £395, its doing 2 10 minute trips to take bridesmaids to church then me, then its taking me and h2b for a drive about for 30 mins after ceremony to give the guests chance to get to reception! xx
Yikes sounds like I got a good deal then cause ours is doing two runs and we get champers etc with it too.

I resented paying so much for a couple of hours work so we are getting H2bs dad in his london black cab to drive us. As we are from london and getting married in Portsmouth we are both looking forward to it :) Hes going to pretty it up with robbons and stuff. cant wait! x

£395 for two cars, one white rolls for bridesmaids and this one for me and dad/h2b (the hotel for the reception has its own fleet of cars so the bridesmaids one is really free for us, so just paying the vintage price)

I have got a stretch white limo with ribbons and bows and Champagne..there will be me, 3 adult bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and 2 page boys in it. H2B and Best Woman are just having a luxury cab. Limo cost £175 for an hour.

were using our local taxi firm............. its costing us £60 for 2 cars (1 white bently n 1 jag)
they gonna do em up with ribbons etc n obviously remove the taxi badge but the cars are beautiful and look just as nice as a proper company...... we only going ten mins between houses and registry and registry n reception. x x

I really want a phantom - the one I see was £790 for 4 hours....but where I am travelling a 5 minute walk I cant justify it as we wouldnt need it for the full four hours....but it is a lovely car!! Lucky you!! xx

ours for 2 cars for 3 hours in black is double that with ribbons chaufer in a hat and 4 bottles of bubbly!! so eeeeek still justify that in my head but was the 1st thing i booked lol plus will look good on the photos and me and h2b get a 20 min drive in it alone before the piccies after the ceremony.... because i want to ( even thou ceremony and reception is in the same place!!)

sian-louise it was h2b's mum who suggested the taxis and like i say in truth u cant even tell we havnt booked em from a posh company especially........... i think if we couldnt have them id just walk to ceremony lol or getta bus lmao

haha i love cars ... me and h2b change our cars all the time as we get bored and want a better toy faster and more noisey... so to me there important as cars do it for me ... its my passion... i know im sad ... but hey ho.. a nice car is more important to me than a nice dress!!... i couldnt have my dream car as theres non in the uk so i had to settle haha

h2bs step dad works for the taxi company thats doing our but they said he could have 2 cars for £50 if he drove 1 but only £60 if 1 of the taxi companys workers did but they puttin all the ribbons bows etc on n also making drivers wear a smart uniform with top hat lol!!!!! thought that was brill altho am now contemplating catchin the bus.......would make 4 an interesting conversation starter '' 1 way please......... infact make that an all day incase i change my mind'' lol x x x

We are paying £575 for 2 cars, both vintage, not too impressed with the company today though.... had the final schedule for the day in the post today, the date of the wedding was wrong on the letter but right on the schedule, and there was an invoice included for the balance.... which I paid in JANUARY!!!! Office is shut today so left a message on their answer machine to ring me first thing tomorrow!

We needed to get 3 cars as it's about half hour drive from church to reception. Had to use two companies one is charging us £340 to transport the men from H2B's mums to church then to reception. Then got two vintage cars from my parents to church then to reception for £600. Flowers, ribbons and champage included for all cars
