    Hi all :)

So i have fallen in love with the idea of having a videographer for our wedding but this means we couldnt have a photographer (we cant afford both). We are thinking of having friends and family do photos as we hate the idea of posing anyway so candid photos would be perfect. Has anyone done this? Or have any recommendations?

    Thank you :)

I would say to do it the other way around. Get a professional photographer but all a couple of family/ friends to take some video footage for you of the main parts of the day like the ceremony and speeches, cake cutting and first dance. You'll look at your photos forever and only a professional will get them just perfect as your memories for life whereas you will watch a dvd of your big day less and wiki only really want to watch the main bits anyway.
