I'm still looking for the right venue, could find some nice once though, but they seem pretty expensive... I will do the viewing of my favorites from the brochures soon... but them are actually way over our budget... hope you can help me to find nice venues which meet following criteria typical old english (maybe like 15/16 century) love castle style or manor houses... even barns look real nice though need something which we can afford which fits in about 40 to max 70ppl... I want a venue which offers buffet as its going to be easier for the guests to choose what they like... Hope you can give me some ideas were I can look into!
Thanks so much

Have you thought about The Dome in Worthing? Friends of ours got married there last year and it was beautiful.

Hi Enny! There's so many lovely places in Surrey and West Sussex. We had a tough time deciding on a venue (but what a lovely problem!) There's Wootton House near Dorking or have you looked at Arundel Town Hall? I found this guide from West Sussex County Council really useful. Hope it helps xx *******************************

well on money i'm going to look at The Ravenswood so lets see if it looks as nice as it is on the pictures... my colleague told me today that a friend of hers got married in langshott manor 6years ago and that this looks quite pretty too... but that seemed quite expensive to me so i will see but planning on booking an appointment to see if i actually like it :) ...

looked at the pics from the christ's hospital once... it looks lovely but i think it might be to big for that what i want :)

Not sure how much they charge, but there is Eastlands Estate, which is out in the countryside between Horsham and Billingshurst. I have a feeling they might be pricey, as when I was first looking they quoted package deals which I thought were too high, but now their website doesn't quote any prices or numbers at all....

hey, dont know if it helps but we are getting married at the midsussex golf and country club its in ditchling. they have different packages, price wise we have paid £3,500 but thats for the 3 course wedding breakfast for 70 room hire, arrival drinks table wine and toast wine then a finger buffet in eve. hickstead hotel is also nice but not sure on prices. good luck hunting your dream venue :) that has been one of my fav bits!!! xxx

Hey there are many places in sussex and Surrey, when I was looking many of them told me my numbers were too big for them to accommodate so you should be fine, have you tried hiksted racecourse? Cottesmore golf club? Gaton manor? Gyll manor? We went for stan hill court in Charlwood - they do accommodate smaller parties too
CommentAuthorEnny
nearly went for gatton manor or also gyhll manor both looked great in brochures but fell in love with langshott manor beautiful venue it is :-D
