Depends what sort of thing you are looking for really - hotel, fancy old building etc. Have you googled it and stuff?

You'll be amazed at the places you will find just driving around the area hun - I'm sure there will be loads of hotels/pubs that would be able to cater for you or maybe hold a marquee in the grounds or something (may be a bit cold tho!)

google wedding venues, there are a few good directory style sites, tell them your area and your needs, i.e country house reception only and they will give you a list of all the places with in your county, usually with links.
Searching place names normally gives better results, plus the directory sites sometimes have better deals than going direct.

Spend a day having a drive around and keep your eyes open for places. There are so many you won't have even considered or even knew were there. It wouldn't hurt to take a look and ask if they have a wedding price list. Great way to compare prices too.

    Good luck sweetie x
