OMG! I never even considered pee pee time on my wedding day and I have a pee sized bladder. I have a she pee from the last festival I went to luckily they had posh toilet wristbands for sale so I didn't have to use it maybe I should pop it in a bag for my big day. I used to sit the wrong way on the toilet when I was younger because I was a weirdo so I've had the practice. x

    I can't wait until 29/06/2013
The day I marry the man of my dreams!

ive already had a practice run lol... works a treat dont know how its gonna fair when im under the influence though.. think everyone needs to be adding this to the ask at the bridal shop when choosing a dress (especially fishtail) i cant see how fishtail and bathroom breaks are gonna work to be honest so good luck on that one x

I totally did the reverse pee action on both occasions that I wore my dress - and it wasn't even that big LOL!
I HIGHLY recommend it. I remember singing 'the sun has got his hat on' with my Godmother who had to escort me one time to diguise the sound of me peeing! Seriously, if nothing else, it brings people (you and the person accompanying you) together!

The only thing I'd say about the crotchless pants idea is that I got very warm from my waist down with all the layers (and I only had 3 of them!), so was grateful for the cotton crotch of absorbtion!

i went to the venue the other night to check the toilet situation

i will not get in the regular ladies so i said so you have a disable and bam there was a disabled toilet under the grand staircase tucked away in the corner. Gunna get a little sign done that says reserved for the bride only :-) we don't have anyone that needs the disabled look anyway so i'm fully within my rights to steal it all day

FML crotchless pants. I cannot make small talk with my newly acquired grand-parents in law knowing that I've got crotchless knickers on!!! Luckily MOH is like a sister to me and won't mind helping me wrap my legs around a cistern but I literally cannot pee with someone else in the room. I had my gall bladder out last year and they gave me a bed pan and even with h2b leaving the room I still had to wait for 2 hours until they let me stand up and go for a wee on my own!!! HELP.

My dress wasn't particularly large, but I still had no problem with going to the toilet normally - and after the first couple of visits I didn't even require any help, just grabbed my hoop at the back and scooped the dress up :)

So far as fishtail dresses are concerned - a friend got married in one earlier this year and said she ended up only going to the toilet once all day because it required her to literally take the dress off to go! Definitely something to bear in mind with the close fit dresses!

I have just read this and was literally peeing myself.
Im glad I've chosen a shorter dress that will be easy to manage on my own.
When I have a long dress on (like a maxi dress) I usually just pull it above my waist and toss it over a shoulder.

Oh and fyi anyone wearing holder-fatter-inner pants on their wedding day you can now buy them with two flaps in the crotch that you just open to pee then close when finished, or just cut the crotch out.

I know last June when my best friend got married it was me chaperoning her to the toilet, something I hadn't envisaged in the run up! She sat on it back to front, but i know for when we set out date I need to consider the bulk of my dress, I do have a dress in mind, might have to "sit on a chair" in the bridal shop to get a feel of the toileting situation!!!
