hi all, just thought id ask your opinions. i only wear tights on rare occasions when i wear a dress to go out, have never worn stockings and suspenders.... so trying to decide what to wear under my wedding dress? 1) tights, 2) stockings and suspenders, 3) suspender tights.
also my dress is light gold and my shoes are gold so which colour would you go for??
i have seen some tights with gold stars all over them but think m too plain to wear them lol (pic added)

There's always the third option: hold ups. I'm going for these, no need to worry about the suspender belt showing under your dress, and no faff of having to pull tights down...the perfect solution :)
Note to self - go buy hold ups!

oh yeah never thought of hold ups... think it would be easier just unsure what colour lol thats also an option for me too trish, i was thinking that because my dress is floor length so no one will know just think my shoes will feel better with tights on :)

I would say tights as I have never worn stockings ha. And as close to skin colour as you can get. As they are just going to be there so your shoes feel better, they dont need to stand out.

I don't like wearing shoes barefoot, and the holdups will stop my thighs rubbing together and setting my knickers on fire

I'm getting hold ups in a color that is slightly darker than me, and I don't want to gets blisters on my feet by going barefoot (actually I'm not so bothered about the blisters on my feet - it's the blood in my shoes I want to avoid!)

Although I'm not wearing anything on my legs, a friend of mine said that stocking (or hold ups,I guess) would be best. You can wear your knickers over the top for easier access for toilet trips, making it easier also to hold up your dress.

ive got ivory diamante hold ups and a garter belt too i never wear them but its my wedding day so why the hell not... hold ups are easy they just stay up... tights annoy me as i can feel them round my tum and id be fiddling all day

I wont be wearing any on the day. I find they make my feet slide around in my shoe so I will have bare legs under my dress. Like Jo I migt slip some on before bed.

I aint wearing anything! hold ups never stay up, and trying to adjust them and pull them up under my dress would be an irritation i could do without. Also not wearing any underwear during the day to make toilet trips a heck of a lot easier! Will put a pair on late in the reception though, as getting personalised ones.
I MAY consider wearing stockings and suspenders, if i can find suspenders that are as solid as super glue and wont be likely to ping off every 5 minutes!

my gran wears (as she calls them pop socks) their made of the same material as tights, but are just ankle socks.that was you have something o your feet, but not going to hamper you going to the toilet like tights will (as if you dont have enough problems trying to go to the loo on the day)
