I am having my hair half up half down for my wedding and have an elbow length veil to go with my dress which has little beaded flowers around the edging of it. The top of the veil is just attached to a comb and has raw edging on it so my mum said it would look alot better if I had a clip/comb to go in over it (the veil is being placed just above where the hair is put up at the back). I have found a couple I like but I really wanted a tiara too as when I was trying on the dress the lady put a tiara on me and it just seemed to finish the whole look off if that makes sense? So what I am asking is do you think that having both will be too much? And if so, which should I go for? xxx

I think that would work. I know a lot of people add clips to cover combs and raw edges and it works. If the tiara is mainly in the front and clip in the back it wouldn't look too busy.

I bought a hair clip which has a bit of sparkle and bling on it. I took the top bit off the hair clip and sewed it to the comb on my veil!! I thought about having a small tiara but I've settled on hair spirals instead.
I think it would look fine!! :-)

i am havign a birdcage veil on a clear comb and a side tiara/headband..

im having both like you my veil will be at the back so im having a large diamante clip to go at the top of it and i will have my tiara in front of the 'bump' in my hair xx will put a pic on my profile but bear in mind this was me doing my hair to see what it would look like haha xx
