just wanted to vent really girls.

were thinking we will have to postpone the wedding because our landlord has decided she wants to renivate her property, shes gunna evict us by the end of march and so we have till then to sort out somewhere, however im well overdrawn due to student account, i only work partime because of the economic climate and partner loses a quarter of his wages to his ex wife for his kids which she won't let him see :( i just want to cry :'( all the estate agents arte charging moth and a 1/2 for deposite plus a load of fees so we cnt afford that and there arn't many places thru private lettings so its not looking very good :( ive filled out our local council forms to try and get council housing but it looks like we could b eligable to around 4 properties a week and we can only apply for 1 :( and even if we do find somewhere we still have to get all the furniature as we are currently in a furnished property :( i don't mind secondhand but its just one more stress :(

sorry girls just really needed to write it down, thanks for listening and if anyone has anything they would like to offer in the way of advice and help i would really appreciate it!!!! thanks again x

aww sounds like youre having a rought time of it. I hate private letting because of the fact you can end having to move every 6 - 12 months.
We're in a council house, though been trying to move areas for 2 years now.
There seems to be huge housing shortages everywhere, and up here every bloody private let want a homeowner guarantor which we just dont have, so we are stuck here.
Is there anything or the wedding you can cut back on a bit so you can afford to have it when you planned it still?

A lot of us are finding times hard and jobs arent east to find theses days

hope you can sort something out

What you can asked her to do is a pre inspection of the property (a month before you leave) providing she is happy you can agree with her not to pay the last months rent and she will keep your deposit (providing both the rent and deposit are same amount which they should be)

Unfortunately you cant get around the fees but once your application is out the way, you can give them a date to move. Best to fine something around what your paying now - also check out unfurnished properties as some landlords are willing to fully furnish or part furnish properties although they may not advertise this so always worth asking.

I used to be a letting agent huni so if you need any help or advice feel free to ask me - i wouldnt recommend going private, Ive seen alot go wrong!

didn't pay a deposit on the house as at the time i wasnt working, just left uni u see, wedding is trimmed bk alot but gunna wait till feb n see how we get on, were looking in three areas, leominster (where i work), ledbury (where H2B works) and bromyard (half way between the 2!). a big bit of whats upsetting me is that cos of uni ive had 2 move alot, in 5 yrs ive had 5 addresses! i was hoping to settle somewhere and yet again im having to move house, n cos of not having a deposit and cnt afford the fees means we have to go for a smaller home and so we will have to move if we manage to have kids in the future :( also my freind (if any of u remember i posted about one of my bridesmaids not liking the dress i chose for them and hten decided she liked it) well shes very ill, she has a brain problem that could paralise her and is having an op, i txted her the day of her pre op but didnt htat evening as havnt been sleeping well so i didnt text her after it, well i got a snooty text of her mum (long story but shes a meddler) saying 'did i not get my freinds txt? she really cld do with a freind i would have thought u wld have called her' so i feel even worse as i think ' i have my own troubles! i bet half her family didnt even text her that day!!!' i no i shld b more sympathetic but i have so much on my plate i just want to cry n when she has her op her n her mum r gunna expect me to go up n see her n i just cnt afford the petrol or the time!

am i being really selfish? i genuinly want an honest opinion as my mind is so addled i dnt know what i should do :( ive text her a couple of times since asking how she is but havnt had a reply, i just dnt no what to do

sorry guys! im not normally a drama queen or anything!!! just seem to have a normal life and then boom! xxx
