Basically I had 3 teeth taken out at the hospital before xmas and have a gap where 2 were behind my top left canine. Now have to have something to fill the gap. What do I ask/look for with the dentist?? Id like something permanent that doesnt keep coming out but dont know anything about this kind of thing, what it involves or a rough cost. Hoping someone on here as experience of this type of thing or does dentistry. xxx

Yes 2 of the teeth are next to each other and I hate smiling at the moment, as it looks awful. Im dreading the cost of it, Im hoping whatever I have to have done can be spread in payments. On the bright side I have 22 months to get it fixed before the wedding pics. xxx

Oh bless ya most dentists will spread payments so dont panic just have a chat with them n see what they say, dont let it get you down it will get sorted im sure! xxx
I've just had five front teeth replaced after I broke them slipping on ice before Christmas. I've now got four veneers and a crown. The crown was more expensive but it was needed to fill a gap. I've not got a lot of change out of £2,500. Make sure you chat with your dentist before they do any work and shop around - but get recommendations. I totaly understand your feeling of not wanting to smile - but it'll be worth it in the end. xx

I'm missing teeth behind my upper canines and it dont bother me and also missing one at the front where I broke it badly and it was easier to take out.
Tbh I should've taken better care of my teeth and do now but at least they're not all bad and my smile is fine.
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

Thank you ladies. Im with a NHS dentist but its quite far away. We have one opening in our town soon and had confirmation letters thru saying we are all on their register and they should be open in March. Oh I hope I can get the bridge thingy for a few hundred quid. Paying thousands isnt v appealing at the mo and Id probably just carry on being gummy if I had to pay that much. xxx
