Am currently in the throes of designing our table plan to inform guests which table they are sitting at and with whom.
Question: Should/Do I need to put the top table on the seating plan for others to see?
We're having a slight "geek fest" to the table plan with a mix of World of Warcraft (how we met) and Lord of the Rings - the top table will be called "The Fellowship of the Ring" so doesn't fit in with the general table theme and wondering how to make it work.....
Aside question: anyone else going off piste and having a different type of theme?

We are having Castle Names for the tables, and we aren't having a top table as such, we are having a circle table that will be in the middle of the other circle tables, but all of the tables will be on the plan :)

No theme for the wedding as such, but we are considering having the tables named after our grandparents/family members that are no longer with us - just our way of still including them in our special day.
What do you all think?

That sounds nice Maxine. We are having a top table on the plan but not giving it a special name, just top table lol. More because we run out of special years lol x

Hi im clare , we are having brand names of cars for our table names, not that my partner will know until the wedding day. i am doing this as a surprise.
Just wondered if anyone has tried to use the table planner on this website. have been trying to set up my tables just to get an idea,but it doesnt seem to be working. xxx

i am religiously using the table planner, although I am finding the lack of a head count a bit frustrating on the guest list side lol, I keep having to re count

Just told my h2b what your theme is and his face has just lit up, not having a theme ourselves but he is a massive WOW fan (has played nothing but since the new expansion) big thumbs up from him and can totally see him trying to take a more active role in wedding planning now xx

Myself and my H2B wasn't going to do a theme but after a while decided a theme was more us and after all it is OUR day.
We are massive movie fans so we are going to do each table with a movie. For example Harry Potter table, Star Wars table, Disney table etc.
On each table we are going to have little decorations to match that film :)
