    Hello :)

I know a lot of you lovely ladies are having sweetie buffets and I was wondering where was best to get the sweets from? We're on a budget and I would like to get them wholesale ideally.

Also how do you work out what weight of sweets per person?!

    Any help much appreciated!

    Abi

If you are looking for the scoops, there is a seller on bay of e that does 5 for £5.99 plus postage. I would also think carefully about what size bags you provide, I have lots of greedy guts in my family so I am buying small clear bags and having some labels made up on VP.

I bought my sweets of ebay, they are called retro sweets. I spent £92 on 15 different sweets all 750g each. That may be too much for you but i'm planning on having the candy buffet out all day

Following Kates reply, check and see if there are any carts for hire in your area. They look amazing and i know they have some near me in Essex. Other then that we plan on using Macro for our sweeties or you could always buy a few bags with your weekly shop to help spread the cost - although if your H2B is anything like mine he'll have consumed the entire sweet buffet within a week! x

I work in costco and they have haribo sweets and flying saucers that loads of things you can use for a sweet buffet. I was thinking of buying some from them as i wanted a sweet buffet as well and just have it out for the evening and buying little bags from VP or bay of e

I got some of our sweets from ebay as well as the scoops and bags. But my MOH has a cash and carry card so hopefully we will get that done before the day looms! She is so busy that I might just have to buy the rest from ebay or Home Bargains are cheap too depending on what you want. Local markets can be good too. xx

Check out local services that offer all the scoops, bowls etc. Try cash & carrys, dunelm do cheap vases/fish bowls. I've been lucky & got mine free from work :)

Went to Bookers cash and carry with my MOH on Friday and spent £42 on sweets for our buffet, but got 7 kinds and plenty for replenishing the jars with so happy with paying that price. But have to hide them for the time being as h2b and kids have already had their grubby hands in the bags! lol. x
