I went to an animal petting place yesterday with my h2b, sister and nephew. we were in the goat pen i had my camera hanging round my wrist while i was carrying my nephew i look down and there is a b loody goat licking my camera. don't think much of it at the time till i go to take a picture and it doesn't work! just a blank white screen. how can a goat break a camera just by licking it?! so annoying. was meant to be going shopping with my mum on monday for clothes for my birthday but now i have to get a new camera instead! x

Oh god lol... It might be easily fixed?? Try asking in a camera shop..it may be cheaper to get it fixed rather than buying a brand new one :) xx

i was shopping for birthday presents with my mum but now she's buying me a new camera she can't afford to do both. i don't think its reparable - when i got sand in my last camera the shop said its almost impossible to repair camera once they get stuff inside them. worth a try tho i guess! x

Oh my h2b feels for you, our toddler drooled into his new phone (hes teething) and now its constantly on loud speaker and half the apps didnt work for a while. He got it working mostly tho by using a hairdryer on it for around 20 mins on gentle heat....not sure if you can do that with a camera? xx

i've had it nearly 2 years so it could be worse! just a shame it was a really good camera and it worked perfectly before yesterday. phones tend to dry out and then be ok but i keep checking the camera but still just a blank white screen :( xx

Have you tried drying it and cleaning it? Also check its not knocked a button or something. Also take the battery out and put back in x

hmmm goats will eat anything!, take the card to a professional photo place they can sometimes retrieve things from it, they managed to when my phone melted in egypt we took all our photos on it on the last day it died was so gutted as it was our first holiday and i had treated Al, but the wizz at the shop managed to get them off for me xxx
