I've got my two fabulous friends as bridesmaids and we're all dead excited!!
But i've just realised they they are both 5'7" and Im only 5'5" ... they're going to tower above me!!! :o(
Is anyone else concerned about looking short? Chris is about 5'6" / 5'7" so if the girls wear heels we're going to both look like hobbits!!!
I'm not fussed about the fact that they both have massive buzwhams (mine only just fill a B cup!!) but I dont want to be towered over!!!

Talk to them about it, and see whether they'll settle for wearing flats so the difference isn't too noticeable! Sounds like you have two great girls there so I'm sure together you can figure something out!

Haha, its a good job we're not attending each others wedding L Jo!! Im not one for massive heels (plus i'd be taller than Chris), especially in Greece in the middle of the summer in the afternoon - canckles alert!! Short with swollen legs is not a look im into! Ha x x
They find it highly hilarious that they'l be able to have a chat over my head when the pics are being taken!! :o)

I think I may have to get them a chair each! Just looked at a pic of me and one of them, Im almost eye level to her huge boobs!! Im thinking of suggesting some Greek style sandles mayb - with socks :o)

I seem to be shrinking i was 5ft 8 when i was 18 and now at almost 23 I'm 5ft 6.5 (dont forget the .5 lol)

Normally Chris is slightly taller than me, but if i wear heels and he wears pumps i'm taller. He doesn't like it ... i think it makes him feel inadequate! :o)

to be honest the height thing doesnt bother me im 5'5 and oh is 5'7 but my dad and brothers are between 6'2 and 6'4 and his brothers are over 6' so we are used to being the shortest in the room.

Speak to photographer about pics they have all sorts of tricks, taking pics from up a ladder, giving you something to stand on, sitting them on props, arranging on steps and the list goes on. I was worried about looking wider than Rob??? he has lost 2 stone and I am miserable if I try and diet anyway I am having a proper corset made to measure £100 and it will pull my waist in by 4 inches and I can disappear to loo and let it out a bit to make room for dinner....there is a God!

My BMs are all different shapes and sizes, So I can arrange them around me so I look tall (I cannot wear heels) and thinner :P lol x

I'm 5'4" and h2b is 5'8". I don't want to tower above him - but a lot of shoes I've seen are gorgeous but with 3 to 4" heels so not good. I'm now looking for 2 1/2 to 3" even if I'm the same height as him on the day. BM is about my height so again, around 2 to 3" heels for her I think.

Well me and my MoH are same height i'm only wearing 3.5inch heels and she's saying she won't wear anything less than big heels. Will wait and see when she goes shopping for them and I'll veto them hopefully and limit her from towering over me.
The days are flying by, can't wait :)

I'm only 5ft 4 and hubbie isnt that much taller (though he likes to think he is!!) my daughter is 5ft 6 and she wore 4inch heels to the wedding!! She towered above both of us!! I did buy her a pair of flat shoes for the photo's but she wasnt having any of it lol

I'm 5ft 1" and my Best friend and bm is 6ft 2".... talk about a height difference... My mam even tried to talk me out of having her as she thought it would look odd but I wouldn't have it any other way!! my other bms are all bigger than me.. I'm more on a par with my 3 yr old page boy!!! xx

On a practicle level make sure they do not wear great big towering heels...OR you carry round a crate to stand on during your day?

I'm only 5" 1/2' (yes the half inch is important at that height!!) and my sister who is also BM is slightly smaller than me, but my best friend, who is my other bridesmaid is 6" tall and so is going to be taller than the rest of us. I think I am letting them choose their own shoes as my best friend can pick lower heels or flats and my sister can pick some higher so we can all get on the same photograph. I have no worries about being small, I'm used to it, but I am a bit worried about the photos, it will be a consideration when i pick a photographer! However, we are all who we are and having the people I love there with me on our wedding day is what I am most looking forward to, whether I have to look up or down to talk to them!!

My Bridesmaids are about the same height as me although my two wee cousins (14 & 15) are starting to just tower above me so hoping they don't grow anymore before the wedding but i'm only 5ft4 where as H2B is 6ft 5 so no matter what I do i'm going to look short lol xx

Im 5"2 and h2b is 6"3, so I have to wear heels and he will have to find the flattest shoes in history. Socks, preferably. It's also one of the reasons I'm not having bridesmaids; all my friends are taller and some have rather heavy bone structures, so I'd be totally dwarfed and tiny. Which is cute and wouldn't bother me at any other moment, but not on this day! I want to look tall for once in my life.
You could of course take photos of you and your bms sitting down on the fresh green grass (or beach or something like that)?

I'm 5' 4", H2B is 5' 11" which I quite like. my CBM is only 5' 2" but she has high heeled shoes my concern is my neice (my other BM) she is only 13 but nealy 5' 7" she was upset when her mum suggested she had flat shoes and I have knee length BM dresses so heels look better with them. I managed to find with great difficulty a lovely pair of peep toe sling backs with a tiny heel. She'll still be taller than me but not much and I dont really mind as she is so pleased to have "more grown up shoes".

I am wearing heels on my wedding day as H2b is 6' 1" ...BM is 6' and B/Maid is 5' 10" and she is definately wearing flats!!!! :D
